The Elephant Passage at the Denver Zoo includes several exciting exhibits as well as family-friendly and educational activities. Visit the Chang Pa Wildlife Preserve to learn about protected habitats and see some of the world’s most precious animals in an open and natural habitat. The Schoelzel Family Village takes you face-to-face with the elephants, while zoo docents guide you through educational activities in the atmosphere of a traditional Asian market. Then head to the Village Outpost, where you can learn about communities around the world learning to live with their neighboring animal populations.

As the saying goes, anything that's not an elephant is irrelephant. Lucky for you, the elephants are coming to the Denver Zoo! Come and see the majestic Asian elephants, Indian one-horned rhinoceros, and Malayan tapirs along with six brand new additions to the Denver Zoo family. The new habitat boasts over 10 acres of land occupying the Southern portion of the zoo. Bring the family and enjoy a day of fun and excitement!

See the Urban Farm, Bluff Lake Nature Center, and Sand Creek Park. Maybe even ride to a Colorado Rockies baseball game!
